Free Association

Welcome to the images and sounds of words, punctuated on the rhythm of my page. These words are not my words. I borrow them. I use them only to bring you closer to the human, to the stories, myths and memories playing through my head. Most of the time I feel like a broken tape player. The play button is stuck. Sometimes on fast forward, sometimes on rewind. this model never was able to pause.

I believe in tangible freedom, In breaking down all the fences, rules, and artificial mazes that constrain modern man. One of my English Professors, Richard Strier, once claimed that the restriction of freedom, exemplified by the poetic forms, may be responsible for the creative genius. His claim holds, however, it lacks proper context. The bounds of its validity must be assessed, as they will be in the experiments and analysis of this page. I plan to examine the creative spirit, and put it in relation to its products, its characteristics, and most importantly, to its audience.
